Desiree is a seasoned nonprofit consultant and facilitator. All of her presentations have a mix of thought provoking content presented with humor and wit. When she teaches, she makes a point to connect with every person, and create a safe space for their growth. She is known by staff, senior leadership, peers, and partners as being great at open, honest, and productive conversations. She is not afraid of addressing anything that gets in the way of great work. Her style is positive, approachable, engaging, service-oriented and audience-centered.

morgan lee cataldo

Morgan Lee Cataldo brings over a decade of personal and professional expertise of collaborating with individuals, teams, and organisations to recognise the capability of people who experience systemic oppression. Drawing from her own lived experience as a core knowledge base, Morgan's practice is centred around meaningfully partnering with people to reimagine service systems that prioritise care and dignity, and that value lived expertise as an equal form of wisdom. Morgan's current work finds her as the Senior Manager Youth Engagement at Berry Street, one of Australia's largest independent family service organisations. She also consults independently and in partnership with others, currently working with YLab Global on The Oasis Project as their Lived Experience Lead.

Nina keeler

nina Keeler

Nina Keeler, LMFT, SEP (she/her) is passionate about supporting trauma treatment professionals, through the Trauma Treatment Collective, as they grow and develop their skills. Nina received her Master of Science from Kansas State University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. During her time in graduate school, she fell in love with Play Therapy. She completed a Play Therapy certification program through KC Play Therapy Institute. At the beginning of her career, she worked as a Social Services Case Manager and had the honor of working with many children and families suffering from trauma and attachment challenges. This led her on a journey to learn about trauma and attachment. She completed Dr. Dan Hughes’ level one Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy training in Maine. She then went on to complete Eye Movement Densensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training, the Integrative Attachment Trauma Protocol for Children through The Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska, and the Somatic Experiencing certificate program.

Nic Strack (pronouns they/them) is a Whole Human Parenting Coach, supporting parents to honor and embrace the fullness of their own & their child’s humanity. Their work is centered around radical responsibility, cultivating awareness, and integrating learnings into one's daily life. The foundation of their work is based on this truth: the relationship you have with your Self defines the relationship you have with your child.

Nic is an autistic, queer, non-binary, mixed-race parent of color to a 4-year old bundle of joy, brilliance, humor, curiosity, and so much more.

Anuradha Kowtha

Anuradha Kowtha, a catalyst, educator, and Business Liberation Strategist, who works with small businesses and organizations to liberate their essence so they can meet these uncertain times with resilience and courage. My journey working across both public and private sectors has led me to see systemic issues like hierarchy and exploitation and find ways to address systemic issues at their root cause. The thread that runs through my work is illuminating and liberating individuals and small teams from the indoctrination and cookie-cutter thinking that comes from capitalism and colonialism, so they can provide bold and innovative solutions rooted in justice to their clients.

Elinor Predota

Elinor Predota (pronouns variable) is the founder of Resilient Activists, a space of learning and support for the inner and outer work of social and environmental justice. Elinor has a long and wide-ranging background in activism, community development, spiritual counselling, ritual work, and both formal and informal education.

Elinor is a queer, genderqueer, chronically ill, neurodivergent, white, anarchist, feminist Witch, storyteller, and crafter. The magic of creativity, of relating across difference, and of becoming alive to all that is present, within and without us, here and now, are fundamental to Elinor’s life and work.

Kitty Stryker

Kitty Stryker

Kitty Stryker (she/her) is a queer Juggalo anthropologist and an anarchist cat mom prepping a doomsday bunker in the East Bay. She started the website consentculture.com after calling out abuse within the BDSM and altsex communities in 2011. Her first book, "Ask: Building Consent Culture", addressing consent culture in and out of the bedroom, was published through Thorntree Press in 2017.

Jen McCormick

Jen McCormick, LICSW (she/her) graduated from the University of Washington in 2002 with a Masters Degree in Social Work. She currently serves as the Clinical Director for the Healing Center, a grief and loss center for youth and adults. In addition, has a private practice working with youth and adults that have experienced traumatic loss and conducts trainings for Art with Heart, a trauma-informed creative intervention program for kids and teens.

Tiana Dodson

Tiana Dodson is a fat, Body Liberation Coach who’s out to destroy the belief that you have to be skinny to be happy and healthy, loveable, or worthy. Through her work with the Fat Freedom Foundation program, she guides people feminine-of-center to reconnect with their bodies, destigmatize fatness, and learn about the harms of health being a measure of worth while finding how they can live their best fat lives. Tiana is also a Co-Director here at Trauma & Co. and will be Co-Facilitating this course.

Heather Plett

Heather Plett

Heather Plett is the author of the upcoming book, The Art of Holding Space: A Practice of Love, Liberation, and Leadership and the co-founder of the Centre for Holding Space. She is an international speaker, facilitator, writer, and life-long learner, and she spends much of her time contemplating what it means to hold space for complexity, disruption, and liminal space. Participants of her Holding Space Practitioner Program have come from six continents to join her online and in-person. She lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with her three daughters.

jess jackson

Jess Jackson (she/her), is a trauma-informed LMT (licensed massage therapist), somatic practitioner and writer. She supports survivors through the written word and trauma-informed offerings, and helps practitioners shape and strengthen their trauma-informed practice. Jess works in an anti-oppressive and somatic lens, with the hope of centering survivors and supporting the dismantling of systems and practices in the healing community and beyond that perpetuate harm.

Jess creates resources for trauma-informed practitioners, including a digital workbook unpacking spiritual bypassing, and an upcoming guide on trauma-informed reframes for body-based practitioners.
